ISPI invites you to learn, participate and network at the premier annual event dedicated to workplace performance improvement, the 41st Annual International Performance Improvement Conference and Exposition in Boston, Massachusetts, April 12-15, 2003.

Purpose

• Measure and improve individual and organizational performance
• Build and maintain a performance-based organization through a systematic, measurable, and reproducible methodology
• Acquire and use the most comprehensive set of performance improvement tools
• Master the intricacies of performance analysis, cause analysis, intervention selection and design, intervention implementation and change, and evaluation
• Align your Human Resources, Organizational Development, Quality or Training Department with the "business" of your organization

In 2002, ISPI Conference and Exposition attendees came from 46 US states, 6 Canadian provinces and 23 countries.

• 40% are employed in Training Departments
• 30% are External Consultants in Training or Workplace Performance Improvement
• 30% are employed in Human Resource Development, Organizational Development, Program Management, Project Management, Sales and Marketing, and Teaching
• Vice Presidents, Directors or Managers make up more than half of those internally employed (non-consultants)

According to survey responses, what these individuals have in common is a strong desire to learn new workplace performance tools and technologies and to stay current in the theories and practices of performance improvement and training. They are nearly unanimous, also, in their desire to effectively link theory, research and practice. They seek information and skills of value on the job and share a desire to develop professional contacts.
